Sign Says ‘Recession Sale
2
January 2nd, 2009Los Angeles
Saw this sign outside my local, Sherman Oaks liquor store. Well, at least we know one business isn’t hurting in this down economy. I’m curious to see how this season will shape out for the likes of luxury resorts pushing $90+ for lift tickets. Will people give up their snowboard habits in favor of next month’s rent?Tags: liquor store, luxury resorts, recession

As long as my family and I are in a safe and healthy living environment I would not give up snowboarding!! I would first hawk a few items to afford my season pass than give it up.. unfortunately im sure some people aren’t as lucky. However, it doesn’t have to be so expensive to go boarding, just stay away from the huge resorts, or focus on midweek half days.
All I know is, I would be pretty miserable all winter if I couldn’t go boarding due to a little money..
