Mondays … some of us love them, some of us loathe them … but some of you will like them just a little bit more when you hear about this awesome giveaway we have in store!

I love products and crazy fashion trends that are new and different, so when I heard about this new line of comfy meets trendy boots coming out of Surf Expo from Cushe footwear, I had to check them out!  Cushe (that’s pronounced “cushy”) is a line of footwear, born in 2004, that makes stylish, but more importantly, comfortable, outdoor-inspired shoes.  Sandals, shoes, and boots; they’ve got ‘em all.  But the best part about Cushe footwear?  They’re giving away a pair of boots this week on Westbound Boarder!

WIN IT! One lucky Westbound Boarder reader will win a pair of boots (The “Mindy”) from Cushe’s new line; pictured to the right.  To enter, leave a comment in the comments section (yes, men you can enter too; a gift for a special lady friend, perhaps?) and, to fit in with our Olympic theme this week, tell us what your favorite moment has been so far in the 2010 Winter Olympics.  The contest will close next Monday night (March 1) at midnight PT, and on Tuesday we’ll choose a winner at random and announce, and we’ll also contact the winner via e-mail.  Good luck!  To check out the rest of Cushe’s product offerings, head to their Web site.

UPDATE: This contest is now closed.  Congratulations Lauren, comment number 3, for winning the Cushe boots giveaway!

Thank you everyone for entering nd for your fabulous comments about your favorite moments in this year’s Olympics.  It was quite the 2 weeks, I must say!

  1. I just got back from Australia (I know, tough life, right?). But since I was traveling (read: surfing), it was hard to find the means to catch every event. One event I did see? Women’s half-pipe.

To be in New South Wales, Torah Bright’s home, when she won the gold was AMAZING! The enthusiasm was electric! She was so deserving of the medal and the experience of watching her was unforgettable.

Makes me want to get back on the mountain… with some Cushe boots- so cute! :)

  2. Sooooo…. What hasn’t been a favorite moment of the olympics?! It’s practically in our backyard… How cool is that. And Westbound Boarder, thank you for exsisting :)

  3. My fav moment so far has been Apolo Anton Ohno winning the bronze in the 1,000 meter short track! He’s adorbs! And I need boots because I’m tired of having cold feet!! Too much snow this year!

  4. these are sooo cute!
i havent gotten to see much of Olympics but love the women’s aerial ski jumps and ice skating!

  5. What a great giveaway! I thought the most moving event was when Joannie Rochette skated. It was so touching!

  6. I have enjoyed watching the Curling because it isn’t something I can normally watch on TV. I’m fascinated by it!

  7. Great boots! My favorite moment of the Olympics so far was watching the overwhelming support for Joannie Rochette when she took the ice just a couple days after the death of her mother. She skated beautifully too. What an amazing moment. Yes, I might have cried.

You also just can’t beat watching Shaun White’s gold medal snowboarding run.

  8. I could really put these to use! I really like watching Shaun White. I know I know but he is pretty amazing.

  9. It HAS to be when Evan Lysacek won men’s figure skating! Who says you need a quad to be amazing??

  10. shawn white! nuff said!

  11. Love them! Pick me Pick me! :-)

  12. My fav would be the Women Curling Team, which I never saw this type of sport or heard of it. Until, I saw it in the Olympics I found it very interesting. My family and I were glued to the TV trying to understand the game.

  13. I though Joannie Rochette’s figure skating was really touching.

  14. I loved watching Shaun White just nail his second run (that he didn’t even need to do to get the gold). It showed just how amazing he is!

  16. I come from Slovenia and the most touching moment in the Olympics was when our best cross-country skier, Petra Majdi?, broke 4 ribs on the training, was partly unconscious and still went competing! And the best part of it? She was third!! After she crossed the finish line, she immediately lost her conscious. But she’s okay new. (:

  17. Great giveaway! I have been loving the Olympics, especially last night when Joannie skated. I thought her music was almost painful to listen to, and I almost cried with her after her performance.
I also really enjoyed watching Aksel Svindal earn a gold after his injury, and watched in horror as Lindsey Vonn fell and couldn’t medal. The Olympics are so emotional!!

  18. I dont know if I can say it was a favorite moment, but a very sad one. I watched the girl skater last night who just lost her Mom. She did such a great job. I felt sooooooo bad for her.

  23. When I have a spare moment, I definitely try to have to Olympics on. Although I have to say my favorite moment so far was one I watched online this morning: Joannie Rochette’s performance yesterday, just days after her mom passed away. She did a great routine and I admire her composure.
