If we all had our way, we’d all be ski, snowboard, and travel bums… But welcome to the real world, where we all pay our week-daily respects to the man 9 to 5 simply so we can support our real passions in life.

Westbound Boarder, a site created by two former competitive female snowboarders gone corporate, was created to provide a female perspective on the traditionally male-dominated industry.  Adventure sports have played a huge role in both our lives, thus we enjoy participating in it, almost as much as we like blogging about it!

We write about snowboarding, surfing, the great outdoors, and everything that goes along with it, from what people are wearing on the hill these days (what, jumpsuits aren’t in these days?!) to traveling to our next snowboard destination.  We write about our personal experiences, but also highlight up-in-coming athletes who are building the foundation and future of action sports.
